\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Poker is played with a deck of cards, usually a 52-card pack. The object of the game is to have the best poker hand possible. If you can make a winning hand, you’ll win the pot.<\/p>\n

The game can be played with any number of players. The ideal size is six or eight.<\/p>\n

It is recommended that you have enough chips for the number of people playing. Generally, players buy in the same amount. A special fund is created called the kitty. This is used to pay for the cards and food. Players who leave the game before it is finished are not entitled to kitty.<\/p>\n

The pot is made up of all the bets placed by all the players in one deal. The pot can be won if you can make a bet that no one else calls.<\/p>\n

The pot may be split into two. Different players can win the main pot and side pots.<\/p>\n

The highest card in a hand is the kicker. Some games treat the ace as the lowest card.<\/p>\n

There is also a special kitty, a fund that is created from the discarded low-value chips. Each player has a right to take some of the kitty for food and other needs.<\/p>\n

Another interesting hand is the five-card poker hand. During the betting round, the player who has the best hand can win the pot.<\/p>\n

While there is no absolute rule, the best possible hand is a five-card combination of the following: a pair of aces, a pair of queens, a pair of kings, a pair of jacks and a single king.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
