\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Poker is a game of chance played with cards and chips. The object of the game is to win the pot by having the best hand.<\/p>\n

There are many variants of poker, but the basic rules are the same. First, the dealer shuffles and cuts the deck of cards, and then each player gets one card face down (a “hole” card) and one face up.<\/p>\n

Next, there are rounds of betting. Players may check, which is making a bet that their opponents must match, or raise, which is betting more money than they previously bet.<\/p>\n

After each round of betting, a showdown takes place where the hands are revealed and the winner is determined. In a standard form of poker, the highest-ranking hand is the royal flush, which includes 10 cards of one suit (usually clubs, diamonds or hearts), and a fifth card of any other suit.<\/p>\n

However, there are variations in which the best hand is not a royal flush but rather the lowest-ranked hand. Some games divide the pot among the highest and lowest hands, known as “high-low split” games.<\/p>\n

The best way to win a poker game is to be able to read your opponent and act in a way that will benefit you most. That means paying attention to how they act, their body language and their overall mental state, as well as what kind of chips they have in the middle of the table.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
